uMkhuze dag 15:   Last day in uMkhuze

4 am for my last session with Meg and Pascal. Wihan was with us as well. He is the monitor from Somkanda who I talked to a few weeks ago.

We went looking for the dogs. Again this was a big challenge. We got signal but the males were hiding in the bush as usual. Then the females. Their signal came from the same spot as it did yesterday. I think Meg was a little bit nervous about this. You never know what has happened. Just before we were ready t leave. We found Hope but I didn’t get a visual on Zile. Neither did Meg. Pascal told us he had seen her but I think this wasn’t enough for Meg. Time was running out and we still had to check the MCM22 in the boma. He was looking fine. Meg drove a bit faster she dropped us of at the office because she had to take Wihan to meet Eduard. Pascal and I walked home, just a 2 minute walk. I got changed and packed the last little things. Then we waited for the others to come back. When they did we got everything on the car as soon as possible and we left.

We went to Wimpies to have breakfast. It took them quite a long time to finally get the food to us. There was no more time to eat at the restaurant. The got all their stuff and I said goodbye to them. I will miss them. We had some really good times and most of the time it was fun.

When transport had left we drove to the Ghost Mountain Inn. Here I had a deep tissue massage. Wow that was so good. My shoulders and neck were so stiff before and after the felt good again

We left for the grocery shopping at 1.30 pm. When I was finished I waited at the car for the others. Again it was hot and I was pleased when we finally found some shade to sit and wait for transport. They were late but they arrived just before 3.30 pm
